These are the honorary awards bestowed to those marines who exhibit 
the finest combat proficiencies and the Leadership Traits of the
United States Marine Corps.  During Rifle Qualifications a marine may
be awarded a Rifle Badge to distinguish their current rifle rating.

Medal of Honor

 

Highest level award given out to honor those who demonstrate a tactical genius, proficiency in both leadership and combat.

Navy Cross (x 5), Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and a Navy/Marine Corps Commendation.

Instituted 1919 to a member of the Navy, Marines or Coast Guard for extraordiary heroism in action against an enemy of the United States or while serving with friendly foreign forces.
