2nd Force Recon



These are the honorary awards bestowed to those marines who exhibit 
the finest combat proficiencies and the Leadership Traits of the
United States Marine Corps.  During Rifle Qualifications a marine may
be awarded a Rifle Badge to distinguish their current rifle rating.

Medal of Honor	Highest level award given out to honor those who demonstrate a tactical genius, proficiency in both leadership and combat. * * * To qualify, clan member must have: Navy Cross (x 5), Bronze Star, Purple Heart, and a Navy/Marine Corps Commendation. COMBAT RELATED	Navy Cross	Instituted 1919 to a member of the Navy, Marines or Coast Guard for extraordiary heroism in action against an enemy of the United States or while serving with friendly foreign forces. *** * * Quadruple Kills:Deaths Ratio for 3 maps during the course of play and in at least a 4 man squad of 2nd Force Recon members. Silver Star	Instituted 1932 to all services for gallantry in action against an armed enemy of the U.S. or while serving with friendly foreign forces. *** * * Triple Kills:Deaths Ratio for 3 maps. Same criteria as Navy Cross. (ex. 9 kills/3 deaths) COMBAT RELATED**	Legion of Merit	Instituted 1942 to a member of the Armed Services for exceptionally meritorious conduct in the performance of outstanding services to the United States. *** * * Double Kills:Deaths Ratio for 3 maps. Navy / Marine Corps Medal	Instituted 1942 to a member of the Navy or Marine Corp for heroism not involving actual conflict with an armed enemy of the United States. *** * * Duty beyond the call for the clan, awarded quarterly, every 4 months.** NON-COMBAT RELATED	Bronze Star	Instituted 1944 to all services for heroic or meritorious achievement or service not involving participation in aerial flight. *** * * Awarded for valorous performance while on the attack (assault). Must be playing alongside at least four 2nd Force Recon members COMBAT RELATED**
Purple Heart	Instituted 1932 to all services awarded to any member of the United States Armed Forces killed or wounded in armed conflict. *** * * Awarded for valorous performance and/or death while in defense of an objective. Must be playing alongside at least four members of 2nd Force Recon. COMBAT RELATED**	Navy / Marine Corps Commendation Medal	Instituted 1944 to a member of the Navy or Marine Corps for heroic or meritorious achievement or service. *** * * Members will receive this award when part of a 2nd Force Recon squad of at least four members and they get TOP SQUAD for the match.** COMBAT RELATED
Good Conduct Medal	Instituted 1896 to members of the Marine Corps for outstanding performance and conduct during three years of continuous active enlisted service in the U.S. Marine Corps. *** * * 3 months faithful and honorable service to clan.** NON-COMBAT RELATED	Marine Expeditionary Medal	Instituted 1919 to members of the Marine Corps for landings on foreign territory and operations against armed opposition for which no specific campaign medal has been authorized. *** * * Demonstration of EXCEPTIONAL tactical prowess while part of a 2nd Force Recon squad of at least four members.. American Defense Medal	Instituted 1941 to all services for 12 months of active duty service from 1939 to 1941. *** * * Check posts, attend meetings, and demonstrate esprit de corps, given out once every 4 months.** NON-COMBAT RELATED	National Defense Service Medal	Authorized in 1953, the National Defense Service Medal indicates military service during a time of war or conflict regardless of the serviceman's station of duty. *** * * (TBD) (TBD)**
Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal	Authorized in 1961, the Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal is awarded to members of all US Armed Forces for participation in US Military operatons, operations in direct support of the United Nations, or US Operations of assistance for friendly or foreign nations in danger from hostile actions. *** * * (TBD) (TBD)**	Carlos N. Person who demonstrates distinguished skill with the rifle and can apply their skills consistently during time of war.* * *

Person who demonstrates exceptional skill with the rifle and can apply their skills effectively during time of war, and consistently scores double the kills than deaths. (10 kills/5 deaths) (20 kills/10 deaths) and has qualified as a RIFLE EXPERT atleast twice before.
