2nd Force Reconaissance is a tactical realism combat clan for Battlefield 2.

The clan was founded by Raijlin in February of 2002 for Medal of Honor. Raijlin garnered much of his early online tactical experience through clan 5W-SS. The clan was co-founded at that time by clif, who presently is the Commanding Officer of Tactical Recon Clan {TRC}. Having gone through the growing pains of a new clan, members Shinobi and Thug became co-owners of 2nd Force Recon in January/February of 2003 and helped the clan focus it's energies in only recruiting mature top notch players that are accountable, respectable, and deadly on the battlefield.

The clan eventually moved to Medal of Honor: Spearhead, and then upon the development of Call of Duty, the clan eagerly migrated to the new platform to become one of the first Tactical Clans in COD. Later the clan moved on to Call of Duty: United Offensive. In late 2005, upon the emergence of Call of Duty 2, the clan once again shifted to get an early foot in the Tactical door. However, Call of Duty 2 was severely lacking in depth as a game, so the Headquarters began a search for a new venue. The Headquarters came upon Battlefield 2, and with the intense depth and range of the game, it quickly became the platform for the clan.

In March 2006, the decision was made to bring some new members on board as co-owners of the clan. The individuals have demonstrated time and again the spirit and drive needed to successfully guide the clan. Moose, MF2, Punisher, and Helmut were brought onboard as the new co-owners of the clan, showing the same drive and ambition that Raijlin, Shinobi, and Thug demonstrated nearly 4 years prior.

2nd Force Reconnaissance was created to add another member to the small and unappreciated arena of tactical realism combat. The Battlefield 2 world is full of "run and gun" clans, so tactical clans are among the few and the proud! Teamwork is the essence of tactical combat and thus we strive to work using squad and team tactics. In addition to this goes another core belief of the tactical combat world - realism. Actions that would not be taken in a real life combat situation are strictly prohibited. Details about such gameplay are available in the rules section.

Now being an established and reputable clan, we continue to grow as a family and offer our members the very best in training and tactics. Once you scan our members roster you will notice several things that distinguish ourselves from most gaming clans. Generally speaking we are an adult based clan who is selective in who we allow to join. You will find several of our members having served in the armed forces and are key advisors to our training curriculum and tactical development.
