Personal Note

Worked 13 years in a tertiary care trauma centre as a critical care nurse before I got into computers. Loved doing fixed wing and rotary wing critical care transport, but once my two kids were born, I wanted to get away from the shiftwork. My wife still works emergency, so one shift worker is enough. Now I have a nice day job looking after big ass computers running our patient care system. We're talking rows of 16 CPU, 90 GB RAM, terabytes of disk computers. KICKASS.
I enjoy working out regularly, studied karate for a number of years (Kenpo/Arnis), and I'm an Auxiliary Police Constable (reserve cop) in our fair city.
